The Midview Local School District hosted local leaders and partners during its annual State of the Schools Address earlier this month.
The State of the Schools Address focused on the status of the district, including past accomplishments, present news, and upcoming initiatives. More specifically, Superintendent Dr. Bruce Willingham gave an update on the district’s performance on the most recent Ohio School Report Card, the opportunities available to students, facilities and infrastructure, and the progress of Midview’s strategic plan, which includes the district’s vision, mission, and goals.
Mike Resar, Midview Local School District’s treasurer, provided the district’s financial update. Resar discussed the district’s five-year forecast which includes information about the general fund revenues, expenditures, and cash balance.
“I am very proud of what the Midview Local School District accomplished this past year, and our annual State of the Schools address is a great opportunity to share our past successes as well as our current points of focus, goals, and areas for improvement,” said Superintendent Dr. Bruce Willingham. “We will continue to be transparent with all of this information and will continue to keep an open line of communication to our community on where we invest the valuable resources we have. I believe you will see that we are well on our way to being recognized as an educational leader and that we have worked together, as the Midview community, to support our students to become leaders.”
