Fans coming to watch interscholastic Boys Basketball games inside Midview High School’s Kubuski Gymnasium will be introduced to an updated seating layout beginning Friday (December 3) against Olmsted Falls.
Home fans are now asked to sit on the press box side (south end) of the facility, while visiting fans will sit on the scoring table side (north end). Midview students will remain in the Shipyard, while visiting students will move to the section closest to the stage. The Cheerleaders will also switch sides as will the Midview Pep Band.
This new arrangement accomplishes a few things. It enables our advertisers, who paid to be on the new PowerAd Digital Scoring Table, to project their information to our home fans. It also allows those following the action at home through the Midview Athletic YouTube Page to watch half-time and between-quarter performances properly. Finally, the south stands are slightly larger than the north stands and can better accommodate our Midview faithful.
