Class of 2025 Dates & Info to Know

High school graduation is considered one of the significant milestones in life, and Friday, May 23, will soon be here. This page contains important dates and information for our seniors and their families to access leading up to the big day.

As our seniors finish their final year of secondary education, they are reminded to sustain academic achievement in the classroom, maintain timely attendance, and conduct themselves in a positive manner. Being a participant in commencement is a privilege that is extended to our seniors who are in good standing by:

  • Completing all 22 required credits of coursework as dictated by the Midview Local Schools Board of Education and the Ohio Department of Education.

  • Earning a passing score on Ohio’s high school Algebra I and English II tests or completing one of the three additional ways to show competency

  • Earning at least two diploma seals, one of which must be state-defined.

Our staff and administration wish to see all seniors walk across the graduation stage and receive their diplomas, as this is a wonderful accomplishment for every high school student. We look forward to congratulating our graduates on that day. Please contact the Main Office for questions.

Reminders

School rules are still in effect during all senior dates. Seniors found in violation of any school rules may lose the privilege of attending Commencement and/or may be required to attend school on Monday, May 19; Tuesday, May 20, and Wednesday, May 21, to receive their diploma.

Participation in end-of-the-year activities is a privilege, not a right.

Fees & Fines

According to school policy, all required coursework must be completed and obligations met before graduation.

Personal checks will NOT be accepted after Friday, May 9. After that date, payment WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED BY CREDIT CARD, CASH, CERTIFIED CHECK, OR MONEY ORDER.

In order for a student to participate in commencement ceremonies, all fees MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY Friday, May 16.

To avoid service fees on a credit card, payments may be made to Mrs. Andrey in the Attendance Office in person, by phone (ext. 5310) or online. If you choose to pay online under “pay for it,” there is a service fee.
